Accommodation

The accommodation is a two storey self contained spacious apartment with its own external entrance within a 17th century former school house.

It features two double bedrooms, large lounge / diner, compact kitchen and shower room. All of which have been refurbished to a very high standard retaining many of its original features.

Sympathetically restored oak beams amid floors throughout and furnished with traditional French furniture.

The accommodation also offers an extensive library ranging from Dickens to modern day reading.

The property has its own small patio with barbecue and seating. Guests also have access to the main large garden and orchard which may provide fresh fruit and vegetables for your stay.

Location

Vaucé is an unspoilt picturesque village built around a church dating back to the 12th century.
Vaucé is situated on the northern edge of the Mayenne bordering onto the Loire Valley to the south, Normandy to the north and Brittany to the west.

The region has much to offer with breathtaking scenery surrounding unspoilt villages with medieval architecture.

Just 4km away is the village of St Frambault, an outstanding Village Fleuri, winning international awards for its floral displays since 1986. There is a large fishing lake and for the sporty and energetic a superb water and sports centre nearby.

There are many restaurants and tabacs in the area where you can sample a wide range of traditional French food at an affordable price.
