	Chalet in La Baume between Lake Geneva and Morzine in the French Alps


	Chalet Emilie is a privately owned chalet rebuilt and refurbished during 2005. It is well positioned for both summer and winter vacations. The chalet is situated in a sunny location in a small hamlet in the village of La Baume in the beautiful Vallee d’Aulps. The nearest skiing to the chalet is 10 minutes away at La Grande Terche.

Accommodation

Ground floor

Main entrance / boot room.

Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Bedroom 2 with double bed, bunk bed and ensuite bathroom.

First floor

The first floor is currently a large open-plan Grange with a bedroom area sectioned off with room dividers. This has a double bed in it.

In the lounge area there is a large corner sofa, a sofa bed for additional sleeping, TV and DVD player with a selection of films suitable for all ages, a playstation with a variety of games, CD radio cassette and board games.

A fully equipped kitchen area with dining table and chairs.

There is a car park for 2 - 3 cars next to the chalet and stunning views all around.

Local area

La Baume is situated halfway between Lake Geneva (Lac Leman) and Morzine and is just over one hour from Geneva airport.

There is trout fishing in the nearby Jotty lake and river Dranse and hiking in the grandiose and precipitous setting of Mont Billat along easy paths.

There are a number of ski resorts accessible from the chalet; the nearest being St Jean d’Aulps. There is Le Biot or the larger resorts of Morzine, Avoriaz and les Gets are only 15 - 20 minutes away by car.

Saint Jean d’Aulps has become an important winter sports resort and the ski domain has an excellent snow record and is an integral part of the Portes du Soleil ski area.
