	Les Magnanarelles is an exceptional residence situated on an acre of wooded land and private gardens on a residential hilltop in the village of Lourmarin. This recently built villa is bright and comfortable and is furnished with classic and modern pieces and features marble flooring throughout.

Accommodation

Living / Dining room - the spacious living room includes plenty of comfortable furniture, a piano, fireplace (wood is supplied), satellite TV with English language channels including Sky News, a VCR with English and French video tapes, a DVD/CD player with DVDs and CDs, radio and a tape deck.

Internet access, telephone free of charge for local and national calls and fax available.

Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped for enthusiastic cooks and includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, vitro-ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster and a full range of cooking utensils.

Bedrooms - the house can accommodate six guests in comfort in:

An ensuite double bedroom overlooking the pool and gardens.

A mezzanine with two beds and a shower room.

A double bedroom which opens onto the terrace and gardens.

One more bedroom can be opened on request for an additional adult or two children, at extra cost.

Each bedroom has a desk, chairs, wardrobe, mirrors and a ceiling fan.

There is a separate bathroom and four toilets.

The house is centrally heated during winter and shoulder seasons.

Also available to guests: a large library, several games (including Scrabble, Mastermind and playing cards), a ping-pong table, table football and badminton equipment.

Outside

Outside is a well-furnished terrace, shaded by trees and umbrellas, with a panoramic view towards the Durance hills.
This is an ideal place to enjoy tranquility and privacy with a candlelit dinner at sunset.

The 10m x 5m swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace with pool beds and a gas barbecue.

The area

Lourmarin - ‘one of the most beautiful villages in Provence’.

Situated in the heart of the Luberon Natural Regional Park, Lourmarin has long been famous for its scenic beauty and unusual history.
The village lies on the southern side of the mountains, at the entrance to the pass separating the ‘Petit’ Luberon from the ‘Grand’ Luberon.
It is an ideal base from which to explore Provence - in particular the hidden valleys and hilltop villages of the Luberon.

Day trip destinations can include the 13th century Cistercian Abbey of Senanque, the celebrated medieval villages of Gordes and Bonnieux and the ochre quarries and ochre-coloured houses of Roussillon.

Avignon - the walled city with its Papal Palace and the famous bridge of St Bénézet immortalised in the song Sur le pont d’Avignon.

Aix-en-Provence - with tree-lined boulevards, sidewalk cafes and designer boutiques.

Arles - with its Roman amphitheatre and medieval cathedral.

The Camargue - a National Park and Wildlife Reserve where you will find horses, Provençal cattle and pink flamingoes.
The Camargue offers some of the best beaches in Provence.

Wine lovers can visit the famous Côtes-du-Rhône vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras.

Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - with its world famous antiques market is nearby.

Lourmarin is an hour away from the Mediterranean Sea and the Riviera and the cities of Cannes and Nice are only two hours away.
