There's lots to do and lots of places to see.

Relax and watch the world go by on the terrace or on one of the many beaches on the nearby lake.

The village of Baudinard, perched on a hill at an altitude of 630 meters, has maintained its old fashioned Provençal appeal and is in the midst of a nature reserve which is rich in flora and fauna. The scenery here is astonishing and diverse.

There are two restaurants in the village but no shops.

Sainte Croix - 9km - has a small supermarket, Régusse - 11km - is a small town with a few shops and a supermarket, Bauduen - 12km - a small village next to the lake has a few shops and restaurants.

Aups, 15 km, is the administrative town of the area and has plenty of shops and a large supermarket.

The Gorge and the lakes of the Verdon river are the home of many companies specialising in action and adventure activities such as white water rafting, canoeing, canyoning, kayaking, sailing, water skiing, climbing, trekking, mountain bike rides, paragliding, free flight, gliding and horse riding.

This is one of the most memorable settings for fishing. It is also a paradise for hikers, climbers and fly-fishers.

This is an excellent area for walking, bird watching or just enjoying the scenery.

Le Parc naturel du Verdon - The Gorge and Lake are in a Natural Park and there has been a successful program over the last few years to reintroduce wildlife such as golden eagles and vultures, which can frequently be seen souring above the mountains or down into the Gorge.

Marseille is a ninety minute drive away and both Nice and Toulon airports are under 2 hours away.
