comfortably accommodating parties of up to 23 people.

Each property has a dishwasher, satellite television and ADSL internet connection.

Les Tournesols and Le Petit Chai are suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Les Tournesols

The old coach house has been tastefully converted to create a beautiful, four bedroom, two bathroom property which comfortably accommodates parties of up to 12 people

The spacious living area is beautifully finished, with original, exposed stone walls, beams and French windows leading out onto the large terrace. The kitchen / diner is fully equipped, with automatic washing machine, cooker, microwave and fridge / freezer.

A wide hallway leads to a double bedroom with views over the park and surrounding countryside. To the right of the hallway, is a bathroom with shower and WC.

On the first floor there are three further large bedrooms and a second bathroom.

Master bedroom - this stunning bedroom / family room has both double and single beds. We are happy to provide cots or bunk beds if needed.

The Green Room - a light, airy double bedroom overlooking the swimming pool area.

The Blue Room  - a twin bedroom, with bunk beds if needed.

Le Petit Chai

This gite is based entirely on the ground floor, with tiled floors throughout.

The living / dining area is bright and airy, with French windows leading onto a large terrace with seating and barbecue.

There is a fully equipped modern kitchen, with gas cooker, automatic washing machine microwave and fridge-freezer.

A wide hallway leads to double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom.

Main House

Stunning Charentaise ‘Maison de Maitre’ with a walled garden.

On the ground floor are the sitting room, dining room and modern, well equipped kitchen.

On the first floor are two large bedrooms. The first has a double and two single beds with adjacent shower room with WC.

A further double bedroom has ensuite shower and WC. Both bedrooms have marble fireplaces

Cots are available on request.

The house has satellite TV, DVD and CD player.

Next to the house is a large games room with pool and table tennis.

Le Petit Bardon

A well appointed one bedroom property.

Living / dining area featuring Charentais stone fireplace and French windows opening onto the park (with seating and barbecue).

Large bathroom with bath and shower.

Kitchen and use of a laundry room.

Outside

The property is set in a hectare of grounds with a large non-chlorine pool.

We have a large games room with pool, darts and table tennis.

Local area

Local amenities include: fishing, golf, tennis, horse riding, and the fabulous water centre in Jonzac.

Beautiful sandy beaches, historic towns of, Cognac, Bordeaux and Saintes are all within easy reach.

Also available for customers of Chez Bardon are:

• fishing rods and reels for rent, we can also arrange fishing licenses
• tennis racquets and bikes for rent
• sight seeing flights with experienced pilots in their private plane

Jonzac - 12km -  is the nearest town to Chez Bardon.

Lacanau resort has 14km of sandy beaches and a beautiful, natural forest and lake. The forest contains more than 100km of cycle paths. The lake has two supervised beaches and water sports, including: water-skiing, sailing and windsurfing.

Montendre is a small town 12km from Chez Bardon, with a lively market every Thursday, a large leisure lake, fishing, golf, tennis and horse riding.

St George sur Didonne - 40 minutes - with beautiful sandy beaches offers sailing, sand yachting, surfing and wind surfing.

The Médoc region is home to impressive Chateaux and vineyards and the region has a number of water and land based activities including; surfing, golf, fishing, cycling and walking.
