Set in its own ten hectares of unspoilt meadow and woodland countryside, this stone built property has recently been redesigned and completely rebuilt internally in a part open plan layout on three floors. The farmhouse is surrounded by a private, non-shared, indoor, heated swimming pool, a barn and an orchard. It is set away from noisy roads. There is a large raised wooden seating deck attached to the south side of the house. There are woodland walks including by a lake through the property’s nature reserve land. The property’s caretaker lives at the adjoining farm. Tranquillity and peaceful seclusion are assured.
The local village is within walking distance at 1.5km. The village has a general store and an old style cafe.
The property is conveniently located being within one hours drive of the port of Caen for Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth and one and a half hours drive from Le Harve for LD Lines also from Portsmouth.
The north and west Normandy coasts are within one hours drive. Apart from enjoying the beautiful, heated pool with the adjacent BBQ, the well equipped games room and the bird life and nature of the woodland walks on the property, local activities include cycling on quiet lanes, walking on maintained tracks, horse riding, bungy jumping and visits to Jurques zoo, Bayeux, Caen etc.

The middle floor has an entrance hall (from front door off a large external raised wooden deck with child safety gates), a bedroom (a double bed and a single bed), a bathroom (with a bath/shower) and a kitchen.

The lower floor is an open plan room having a games area with table tennis, table football, a small snooker table and a darts board.
There is a bedroom area on the lower floor with four bunk beds
Also on the lower floor is a laundry room.

The property is comfortably furnished throughout and is equipped with a gas oven, washing machine, clothes drier, dishwasher, microwave, two HD televisions, a DVD player, a radio/cassette player and coffee maker. There is a travel cot and a child’s high chair and child-safe stair gates to all stairs.

Possibly one of the finest indoor pools available with a holiday home, the tiled pool measures 11m x 5.1m x 1.1m deep. The heated pool is very private, it is not shared with other people and is not overlooked. The pool is housed in a spacious traditional Norman oak framed building. Lockable entrance doors and a one low-level water depth throughout the pool basin provide enhanced safety for all. The pool building and pool basin can be lit up to make a stunning evening setting. From the spacious, elevated pool surround there are extensive views over the adjoining orchard and meadowed valley. Adjoining the pool is a BBQ area with a BBQ and seating.
