	An ideal ‘escape from it all’ relaxing holiday location. Situated between Maubourguet and Lembeye, the house has panoramic views over the French countryside, culminating with the fantastic backdrop of the snow-capped Pyrenees.

Accommodation

Large open plan living / dining room with sofa, two armchairs, dining table and six chairs, open fire, TV (UK TV channels only), video and DVD.

Kitchen / breakfast room with dining table, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and all utensils to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe and electric radiator.

Bedroom 2 with two single beds, wardrobe and electric radiator.

Bedroom 3 with two single beds, drawers, wardrobe and electric radiator.

Fully tiled bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and wash basin.

Separate WC.

Utility room with washing machine, wood burning stove, washing drying area, iron and ironing board.

Sun room with garden chairs leading to a small covered patio outside.

Outside

Large enclosed private garden set partly on a slope with small patio area at the top to enjoy the best views.

There is plenty of space for children to play and explore, an orchard with a range of fruit trees and a terraced patio area with 15ft splash pool, garden furniture, sun loungers and portable barbecue.

There is a smaller covered patio area outside sun room.

Cycle room accessible from outside with bikes available at no extra cost. Bicycle rentals are also available in Maubourguet.

Local area

The farmhouse is situated in an elevated position at the end of a quiet village lane in Vidouze with panoramic views over the French countryside.

There are a wide range of restaurants locally to cater for all tastes and budgets.

The market town of Lembeye, 7km, has a supermarket, weekly market, banks, bars and restaurants. It has an outdoor swimming pool and baby pool open in summer.

Maubourguet, 8km, has a weekly market, large supermarket, banks and wide choice of restaurants.

Marciac, a beautiful town 15km away, hosts the international jazz festival in August and has a lake offering various water sports.

Lourdes ‘the city of miracles’ is only a 45 minute drive.

Local activities include swimming, walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and mountain biking plus skiing in the mountains, climbing, aerial tree walks, water skiing and white water rafting.

Close to the house is a small stream for fishing and paddling.

Bed linen, hand towels and tea towels are supplied.
The house is fully cleaned between guests and a set of fresh linen is supplied every week.
