Port de Gagnac is a medieval port on the banks of the river Cere. There are two beautiful restaurants within 200 metres of the house and over the bridge on the other side of the river is the village of
Gagnac sur Cere.
Five minutes walk over the bridge into Gagnac you can find a small village shop where you can buy fresh bread and croissants.
Biars is only 3km away with its busy fresh produce markets, shops and cafés.
The medieval village of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne (6km) is one of the oldest inhabited areas of the Dordogne and has a swimming pool and tennis facilities.
The Dordogne provides great canoeing, fishing, cycling and family days out.
