Gîte Dorothé

Dorothé is a first floor apartment comfortably sleeping 4 with a large double bedroom and a twin bedded mezzanine.

It has a large living space with leather sofas and easy chairs surrounding a large woodburning stove, large dining table and satellite TV showing English channels and DVD player.

Fully equipped fitted kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc.

Modern shower room and WC.

Dorothé has its own private sun terrace.

Gîte Gisèle

Gisèle is arranged on 2 floors providing an open plan lounge / dining area.

This area is furnished with leather sofas, large dining table, satellite TV showing English channels and a DVD player.

Fully fitted kitchen with gas oven, fridge and microwave.

One double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a mezzanine with twin beds and sofa beds.

Modern shower room and WC.

Gisèle has its own private sun terrace.

The gites have access to the utility room with washing and drying facilities and large fridge/freezer.
A cot is available if required.
A large chai (former wine store) provides room for indoor games.
There is a large selection of books, DVDs and board games.

Local area and activities

Samalens Gites are located in the tiny village of Saint Pierre D’Aubézies and have beautiful views over the surrounding countryside extending to the Pyrenees, still snow-capped into early summer.

The Gascony area of the Midi Pyrenees is situated west of Toulouse on the same latitude as Nice, giving a wonderful climate without the pollution.

Marciac which hosts the world famous Jazz Festival every August is a short drive away.

The leisure lakes at Lupiac, Aignan and Plaisance are close by.

The gites are within easy reach of Pau, Toulouse and Bordeaux airports.

The Pyrenees, Lourdes, Biarritz or Spain are possible for a day trip.

Local activities include -

• Chateau and vineyard visits
