	Holiday apartment with swimming pool and riverside garden situated in the village of Montolieu in the foothills of the Montagne Noir 16km from Carcassonne. Situated between the beaches of the Mediterranean and the ski slopes this property is ideal for both summer and winter vacations.

Fully equipped kitchen / diner containing microwave / grill, 4-plate electric cooker with full-size oven, filter coffee maker, kettle and all usual utensils.

The living room has been designed and furnished with style as has the whole apartment.
The sofa can be used as a double bed.

For your entertainment there is a TV (English free-to-air, German, French and various other channels) and a DVD player. A large selection of films is available.

Bedroom with twin beds and plenty of storage space.

Shower room with spacious shower cubicle.
A washing machine is situated in the shower room.

Balcony overlooking the pool and river, ideal for ‘al fresco’ dining.


	The decking on the lower garden provides one of the best water features possible as the river Rougeanne runs directly by the garden.

Local area

Montolieu - known the world over as ‘Le Village de Livre’ has been a centre for book selling and binding since 1989. There are many shops selling books both ancient and modern and a museum that specialises in the history of everything to do with books.

Montolieu also has restaurants, a café, grocery store, boulangerie, tabac and chemist.

Chateaux of the Cathars are nearby.

Carcassonne is 20 minutes by car.

The Canal du Midi is close by and boats can be hired for the day.

Golf is available at Carcassonne.

The Mediterranean and beaches are less than an hour away.

Skiing in the winter is about one hour away.

Toulouse - 90km.

Perpignan - 130km.

Spain and Andorra are within a two hour drive.

Barcelona - 320km.
