Set in its own 2 acre wooded grounds, La Domaine de la Chevaline invites you to relax around the pools, try your hand at badminton, table tennis or even pétanque under the shade of the “bouledrome”.
The grounds include a half-acre wood, gardens, games area and an enclosure with a main pool and a children’s pool and loungers for sunbathing.

The pool is normally open from mid-May to mid-September.

The Local Area

The Mediterranean coast is 50 minutes away with long, sandy beaches just off the coast road in most locations. It is warm enough to swim and sunbathe for up to seven months of the year.

There are several lakes within an hour of Fanjeaux where swimming, sunbathing and water sports are available.

Canoeing and rafting are available on the lakes and also on the rivers in the mountains.

Golf - Carcassonne golf course 40 minutes away and the golf course at Mazamet is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

The flat plains and the mountains provide an enormous variety of hiking terrain and also benefits cyclists and mountain bikers.

Other activities include golf, go-carting, horse riding, a safari park, a bison farm and the shops, museums and churches of Toulouse.

Local wine appellations include - Corbieres, Minervois, Fitou, Malepere and the local sparkling wine from Limoux.
