Chateau accommodation with pool in the south of France

The Château de Jonquières offers you four guest rooms of character and a self catering holiday home in an authentic and exceptional site.
At the foot of the Plateau de Larzac, in the Moyenne Vallée de l’Hérault, the Château de Jonquières, recorded as an official French Historical Monument, is situated in a wine producing village, Jonquières.
It is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, in a superb region full of wonderful natural and historical sites, worth visiting.

Accommodation

Bed and Breakfast

On the ground floor is a summer living room with a billiard table.

By an independent entry on the first floor is the living room for reading, the spacious dining room and the “playroom” tower.

All the bedrooms are located on the second floor and have views of the garden.

Le Tour

The smallest bedroom with double bed and shower room with WC.

La Chambre Bleue

Bedroom with king size double bed and shower room with WC.

La Chambre Jaune

The most “Provençal” and welcoming room with two single beds and shower room with WC.

La Chambre Rose

Bedroom with king size double bed and bathroom with WC.

Le Ramonétage - gite accommodation

This self catering holiday house is situated in the courtyard of the Château de Jonquières.

Large living / dining room with an open-plan kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and oven / microwave.

First floor

Chambre Raisins with three single beds, two of which can be put together.

Chambre Figues with a double bed.

Shower room with washing machine.

Separate wc.

There is access to the pool and the garden.

Gardens

The 2 hectare garden is typically Mediterranean with trees of the south, a natural spring and a small bamboo forest.

At the end of the garden is a 12m x 12m swimming pool.

Local area

The Hérault department was elected the most attractive department in France. Here you will find ancient villages, abbeys, monasteries, Templar sites, churches, caves and canyons amidst a patchwork of vineyards producing quality wines.

The nearby Lac du Salagou covering an area of 2000 acres is a paradise for fishing, swimming and water sports.
Around the lake are over 200km of trails for hiking, horse riding and cycling.

Montpellier, the capital of the department, is 40km from Jonquieres.

The beaches of the Mediterranean are less than an hour away.
