Guest houses with swimming pool near St Jean de Fos in the Herault,

Beds are made upon your arrival and new sheets are provided every week.

Sheets and towels (except beach towels) are included.

Cleaning is not included but can be organised. Each gite is equipped with a vacuum and iron.

There is the possibility of adding a baby’s crib, high chair and stroller for country paths.

The area

In St Jean de Fos (5 minutes by car) there are two bakeries, two grocers, a haute cuisine restaurant (La Pourpre et les Oliviers), bars and cafés, a kiosque selling cigarettes, a post office, a pharmacy and a medical centre.

In Gignac (10 minutes by car) there is a large, modern supermarket, as well as other shops and also a choice of diverse restaurants. This is also the closest place to go for fresh local products and an authentic open air market which takes places every Saturday.

The Domaine is located just west of Montpellier, 30 minutes from the Mediterranean coast in a region which is rich in natural sites and ancient villages and monuments (St Guilhem le Désert, le pont du Diable, the Herault gorges, the Clamouse caves and Lac de Salagou).

There are several geological and natural sites to visit. The Clamouse caves are only 5 minutes from the Domaine. The dolomitic cirques and the Cirque of Navacelles are very impressive.

There are great fishing spots on the Herault river just 5 minutes away.

This is a perfect place for walking. You will find many marked trails in the region to discover nature and smell the scents of pine trees, thyme and rosemary.
The Chemin des Plos in St Jean de Fos leads up to the forestry house on the hilltops behind the village and offers a spectacular view of the surrounding area.

You can explore the paths on foot or mountain bike which meander between vineyards, olive groves and pine forests all around the domaine.
