Set on the sixth floor (with lift) the apartment has incredible views over the Genie de la Bastille and the Georges Pompidou Centre. 10 minutes walk from the City Hall (l’Hotel de Ville), Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre and Beaubourg on one side and The Place de la Republique, the Bastille and the Place des Vosges on the other.

	The Marais, where the apartment is situated, is one of the most typical and least spoiled of the Parisian districts. It takes its name from the marsh that covered the area which was drained in the 12th century. Henri IV had it developed into a residential district in the late 16th century but at that time it was called the Place Royale where the rich and famous built beautiful, magnificent mansions. Notable churches in the Marais include the St-Gervais-St-Protais, St-Paul-St-Louis and Notre-Dame-des-Blancs-Manteaux.
