Accommodation

The five gites have all been refurbished and equipped to a high standard and accommodation varies between them.

Germaine - sleeps 6+2

Large open plan fully equipped corner kitchen with dishwasher
Living room and dining area with woodburner, extending dining table to accommodate 12 persons
Bathroom with bath (incorporating shower unit)

Mezzanine -

Large open plan bedroom with twin beds.
There are also two folding beds and a cot which are stored in this area.

Facilities for all gites:

• wall mounted electric convector heaters
• bedrooms furnished with beds, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside cabinets
• duvet, pillows and blankets
• sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases
• bed linen - fresh weekly
• proper baths (except Helene) and showers
• fitted kitchen including full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave (+dishwasher in Germaine)
• kitchen basics - washing up liquid etc.
• all electricity, including heating and hot water
• wood for open fires
• shared washing machines and tumble dryer
• cots, high chairs and stair gates

Outside

There are two acres of gardens and playing fields including a small children’s play area and a boules pitch.

Picnic tables and barbecues are provided for each cottage and there are plenty of places to have a quiet meal, sit and read a book or simply lie in the sun and enjoy the complete tranquility of this lovely site.

The grounds are child-friendly, situated off an extremely quiet rural road which is ideal for cycling (bikes are provided) and there is plenty of space for the children to play and explore in complete safety.

The area

Launay Arot is situated in a peaceful rural location with an abundance of local facilities including swimming, tennis, golf, sailing, riding, a zoo, shops, bar and restaurants.

The nearest shops are 2km away in Trebedan.
Plelan le Petit - 6km - has a small supermarket, butcher, baker, bar and restaurants.

Dinan - 15 minutes - a medieval town and the main shopping area.

Jugon les Lacs (15 minutes) - swimming, sailing, tennis, riding.

Golfing - Dinard, Le Tronchet, Chateau des Ormes, Rennes.

Beaches - Plenty of local beaches within 20 - 40 minutes drive. The Atlantic coast is within easy reach.

Long winter lets - are available on a monthly basis between October 1 and March 31.

Group discounts - Launay Arot is ideal for larger groups
                               (up to 26 in normal beds or 31 using the folding beds).
