Ground floor bedroom with two bunk beds, chest of drawers, ensuite WC and washbasin.

First floor

Two bedrooms, a twin and a double with antique wardrobes and chests of drawers.

Bathroom with bath / shower, washbasin and WC.

A stair safety gate and baby's travel cot are available on request.

Cottage 2

A characteristic, detached Breton stone cottage with comfortable ground floor accommodation.

Well-equipped kitchen / diner / living room with cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, French TV and DVD player, iron and ironing board and wood burning stove.

Two double bedrooms with wardrobes and chests of drawers.

Shower room with shower, washbasin and WC.

The first floor is unoccupied.

Local area

The village of Ploërdut is just one minute away by car and has a baker, butcher/grocer, café/bar, crêpe restaurant, post office, church, doctor and pharmacist.

Ten minutes from Ploërdut is the town of Guémené sur Scorff, historic home of the Princes of Rohan. There are several restaurants, shops, cafés and an excellent supermarket.

A further 20 minutes drive brings you to the medieval / Napoleonic city of Pontivy with all amenities. This is the area's major centre and well worth a visit.

Priziac, with a large swimming lake, beach, boats and a café is ideal for families.

L'Orient and the beaches of Larmor Plage are a 40 minute drive away.

Pre-historic Carnac , the city of Vannes , the Quiberon Peninsula and the Gulf of Morbihan for wildlife and water sports are reached in about an hour.

To the north is a very scenic drive around Lac de Guerladen with swimming, sailing and lakeside restaurants.

Spring and autumn are magical times to visit.

There is plenty to occupy you in this area, including cycling and walking along the Nantes-Brest Canal trail, riding, golf and many beach based activities.

All power costs are included. Additional wood for stoves incurs a small extra cost.
The cottages have electric heating throughout.

Bed linen is available at extra cost, towels and tea towels not provided.

Please note that there are no telephone / internet points.

Cottage 1 normally accommodates up to six but up to two more may be accommodated on the sofa bed at an additional cost of 10% pppw (NB - duvet/bed linen not provided for sofa bed).
