Two double bedrooms one with super king sized four poster bed (the second bedroom is off the main bedroom, so not always suitable for two couples).

Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge / freezer, gas oven, gas hob and washing machine.

Spacious living area with sofas, English TV, stereo and wood burning stove.

An iron, ironing board and hairdryer are provided.

A cot and z-bed are available if required.

Outside

Large private garden with garden furniture, barbecue and splash pool.

From the garden there is a panoramic view of the bay of Le Mont St Michel.

Friendly English/French speaking hosts live one mile away.

Guests at Hillside Cottage are welcome to visit Le Moulin de Launay (ref. 3530) to enjoy the animals on Tallulah’s mini farm, have fun with dog hire for country walks or hire bikes.

The area

Vieux-Viel village is a short stroll away along the pretty lanes that run through the rolling countryside. The village has a small bar and opposite you can buy eggs and milk from Janine at her farm.

Trans La Foret has a great boulangerie and the beautiful Ville Cartier forest with its lakeside restaurant, parcour (climbing trees on wires), boating lake, pony rides and children’s adventure playground.

Pleine Fougeres, the nearest town, has a well stocked corner shop, two boulangeries, post office, butcher's shop, banks, cafes and a restaurant.

The picturesque market town of Combourg is famous for its stunning fairytale chateau and lake.

Dol-de-Bretagne is a lovely historic market town with delightful cobbled streets, cathedral, restaurants, bars, shops and an indoor swimming pool.

Mont Dol is a picturesque village upon a hill with unbeatable panoramic views of this part of Brittany.

Cancale, the gorgeous coastal town and seafood capital, is 40 minutes by car. Here you can explore the great sandy coves nearby and find your own private beach, even in August.

Dinan is the best preserved medieval town in France brimming with restaurants, bars and pretty shops.

Rennes, 50 minutes, is the capital of Brittany. This beautiful historic town has literally hundreds of restaurants and bars and shopping to die for.

St. Malo - 45 minutes - a stunning walled city with a beach, restaurants and great shopping.

Le Mont St Michel a breathtakingly beautiful abbey and town.

Fishing is a popular sport in the area.

The area is renowned for the golf courses. Our nearest is at Les Ormes.
