Armor cottage

Armor cottage, the smallest of the group of three cottages, is ideal for couples who are seeking a quiet interlude or romantic holiday in the Brittany countryside.

Fully fitted kitchen / diner area with fridge, washing machine, toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker and electric cooker with full oven and hob.

The lounge is furnished with a three-piece suite and television with free satellite channels. The centre piece is a wood burning stove to keep you warm in those out of season months, along with electric heaters available in all the other rooms.

On the first floor is an ensuite double bedroom with fitted carpets, wardrobes, bedside tables and reading lamps.

The ensuite bathroom has a full sized bath and shower tap attachment, hand-basin and toilet.

Broons cottage

Broons cottage is situated in the middle of a terrace of three and is the ideal gite for families or couples who are looking for a typical self catering French holiday with the classic Breton feel.

Fully fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, washing machine, toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker and electric cooker with full oven and hob.

The dining suite is in the kitchen / diner area.

The lounge is furnished with a three-piece suite and television with free satellite channels.

A triple bedroom with a double bed and one single, fitted carpets, wardrobes and bedside units with reading lamps.

Twin bedroom with two single beds, fitted carpets, wardrobes and bedside units with reading lamps.

Bathroom with a full sized bath and shower tap attachment, hand-basin and toilet.

Caulnes cottage

Caulne cottage is the larger of the terraced cottages with its typical French country-style layout.

The kitchen comes fully furnished with a fridge, washing machine, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and electric cooker with full oven and hob.

The dining area, complete with dining furniture is adjacent to both the kitchen and the lounge.

The living area is comfortably furnished and nicely decorated with a 3-piece suite and features a traditional-style Breton fireplace, satellite television and the spiral staircase to the first floor.

Main bedroom with a double and a single bed, fully carpeted with wardrobes and bed side units and reading lamps.

Second bedroom with double bed and fully carpeted with wardrobes and bed side units and reading lamps.

There is also a full sized single bed on the landing.

Bathroom with full sized bath and shower tap attachment, hand-basin and toilet.

Dinan cottage

This detached gite is the perfect retreat for couples or friends looking for a quiet self catering French holiday.

Fully fitted kitchen/diner with fridge, washing machine, toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker and electric cooker with full oven and hob.

The dining suite is in the kitchen/diner area.

The lounge is furnished with a three-piece suite and television with free satellite channels.
The sofa is a pull-out sofa bed which can sleep two people if required.

First floor double bedroom with fitted carpets, wardrobes and bedside tables and reading lamps.

Bathroom also located on the first floor has a full sized bath and shower tap attachment, hand-basin with a separate toilet.

Outside

Each cottage has ample parking and access to the large grassy area.

To add to your enjoyment we are delighted to provide a barbecue and traditional wooden picnic table.

Children are most welcome and there is plenty of space for them to play outside on our large grassy area.

Pets are also welcome but most be kept under strict control so as not to disturb the other guests.

Local area and activities

Les Brousses is a quiet, rural hamlet in the beautiful and varied Cotes d'Armor area of Brittany. Located approximately 15km from the medieval town of Dinan and a 40 minute drive from the walled city and ferry port of St Malo.

Within easy reach are the beautiful sandy beaches of Sables-d'Or-les-Pins, Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, Dinard and Saint-Cast le Guildo.
The excellent beach at Lancieux is noted for its modern wind surfing and water sports.

Local activities around the area include fishing in the nearby lake, cycling and walking.

Local amenities include a swimming pool, supermarket and a weekly market.

A trip to the mysteriously beautiful Ile d'Ouessant is a must. Lying 20 kilometres from the mainland, it is a great place to visit. On the island is the Ecomusée du Niou, a museum of two century-old houses reconstructing the traditions of the Ouessantines. Also worth visiting is the Centre d’Interprétation des Phares et Balises, a unique maritime museum dedicated to the history of the lighthouse.

The town of Vannes in south-central Brittany is a lively medieval town with some interesting museums and excellent restaurants.
