Local area and activities
The village of Lurcy Levis - 3km -
has a modern, well stocked supermarket, a petrol station, public tennis courts and plenty of boulangeries and patisseries. There are also several excellent restaurants close by as well as a local vineyard, all of which come highly recommended.
For racing enthusiasts there is a circuit in the village where a variety of racing motorcycles and cars are tested.
Formula 1 motor racing - the famous Magny Cours race track is only 25 minutes away. The Bol D'or (24 hour motorcycle race) is also held at Magny Cours along with various other motorcycle events during the year.
With the towns of Moulins and Nevers only 40 minutes away, this area offers an excellent opportunity to explore a region of France full of wonderful architecture, culture and history.
Bourges - 55 minutes - is a beautiful cathedral city which, during the summer months, is illuminated at night.
