Each chalet has a terrace with tables and chairs and their own built-in barbecue area. The chalets are insulated and double glazed for all year renting.
Camping There are 23 pitches on site and each shady pitch is 8 x 5 metres. The pitches are surrounded by hedges for your privacy and each pitch has electric hook-up. |

The Campsite This English owned site nestles in a valley, surrounded by trees with a waterfall and river running through. Here you will be guaranteed peace and tranquility. A bar and restaurant is situated in the old mill for all your entertainment needs. The restaurant has a large covered terrace area where entertainment evenings with music and karaoke are held twice weekly. There is a large adult swimming pool. For the children there is a paddling pool and play area with swings, see saw and slide. There is also a pool table, table football, darts, table tennis and a bowls area. The sanitation block has a laundry, baby and handicapped facilities |

Carp and trout fishing There are three lakes to enjoy trout or carp fishing. The carp lake is 7,000 m2 and is stocked with mirror carp, common carp and blond carp. Here carp in excess of 20 kilos have been caught. The trout lake stocks rainbow trout and salmon trout. Enjoy a days fishing and profit from having fresh trout for supper. |

Local area This area of France boasts many lakes and rivers and is a popular area for fishing. There are many tourist attractions nearby - fairy tale castles, pre-historic caves, medieval villages and outstanding scenery. The historic centres of Sarlat, Brantome, Bergerac, Beynac and Domme are all worth a day's visit. LeMoulin du Chatain is also ideally situated for cycling, bird watching, hiking and many more out door activities. Nearby: long walks, tennis, a 40 hectare lake with beach for swimming, water skiing, canoeing, kayaking and pedaloes. During the summer months there are many fairs and antique markets in nearby towns and villages. Segur le Chateau is an enchanting medieval village, with its rich architectural history Pompadour with a magnificent 15th century chateau that was once the home of Madame de Pompadour - favourite mistress of Louis XIV. Lake Rouffiac, situated in the heart of wooded parkland of 100 hectares, has many sporting activities such as tele-skiing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming. The Papeterie de Vaux, an ancient paper mill which is open to the public and is within walking distance The Forge at Savignac Ledrier, an historic monument, the old forge is in a beautiful setting with the backdrop of a fairy tale chateau. A good place to have a picnic by the river. |
